What is a VBAC?
VBAC deliveries carry risk, but can be successful in the correct patient population. Secondary to the risk, the hospitals have safety requirements for the physicians to be in house the entire time you are in labor. The health and safety of yourself and your baby are our priority. We currently will only do VBACs in select patients with a proven pelvis. This means they have had a vaginal delivery before. If a VBAC delivery is important to you and you have not had a prior vaginal delivery, we are happy to assist you finding an OB-GYN who will allow you in a trial of labor.
