Surgical procedure may be advantageous
For women with significant vaginal laxity or extensive scarring and sensitivity from childbearing, a surgical procedure may be advantageous. During this procedure, the scar tissue or excess tissue is removed, usually in a diamond shape, then brought back together with a suture. This requires downtime of about 6 weeks.
As most patients do not have isolated concerns, combination therapy is often required for the best results. We are happy to create an appropriate treatment plan to address your specific needs.
