Technology to improve vaginal and vulvar symptoms

Forma V is a technology to improve vaginal and vulvar symptoms of pain, discomfort, laxity and dryness. This device uses comfortable deep heating to encourage tissue remodeling that is immediately evident and continues to improve over time. The procedure uses an internal device about the size of a vaginal ultrasound probe or closed speculum. Gel is applied internally and externally and the wand is used to heat the tissue comfortably. To evenly heat the tissue, the wand is constantly moving and the heat is monitored. The procedure takes between 30-45 minutes. There is no downtime. You can return to your normal activities after. Results are noted immediately and up to 3 months after the procedure. Generally, 3 sessions a month apart are recommended for best results.

Dr. Bertles is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners and is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Amanda Smith, PA-C, spent the first 15 years of her career in primary care and is excited to join Progressive Women's Care and Dr. Bertles as she brings her primary care knowledge to women's health.
